Belarus situation won't affect Russian ruble - Kudrin
GORKI. June 29 (Interfax) - The economic troubles in Belarus will not affect the stability of the Russian ruble, Deputy Russian Prime Minister Alexei Kudrin, who is also the country's finance minister, told reporters.
"The Russian ruble in no way depends on the events in Belarus. In this case the price of oil will more likely affect the Russian ruble, the overall volume of exports and imports from Russia, our use of oil and gas revenue. But since we control this process it will remain lodged in our forecasts and parameters," Kudrin said following the Russian president's budget address.
