Ukraine received 75% of planned gas deliveries in H1
MOSCOW. June 29 (Interfax) - Ukraine received 75% of planned gas imports for the full year in the first half.
It took more gas in the first half because prices are slated to rise in the second half.
Ukraine had received 28.377 billion cubic meters (bcm) of gas as of June 27, which might reach 28.8 bcm by June 30, the Russian Fuel and Energy Central Dispatch Service said.
Naftogaz Ukrainy chief Yevgeny Bakulin said last week that Ukraine would receive 27 bcm in the first half. Ukraine plans to import a total of 40 bcm, which is the maximum amount of Russian gas it can receive at a the special zero export duty rate.
Ukraine paid $264 per 1,000 cubic meters for imported gas in the first quarter and $296 in the second. The price is expected to rise to $350 in the third quarter and above $400 in the fourth.
