Australia to open trade mission in Almaty

ASTANA. June 29 (Interfax) - Australia plans to open its trade mission in the largest city of Kazakhstan - Almaty

The announcement was made by the Australian Minister for Foreign Affairs Kevin Rudd at a meeting with the Foreign Minister of Kazakhstan Erzhan Kazykhanov, a statement of the Foreign Ministry of Kazakhstan said.

During the meeting, which took place in Astana on Tuesday, the sides discussed interaction within regional organizations and the expansion of trade ties, the statement said.
