Gazprom's EBITDA might reach $60 bln by years' end - Miller
MOSCOW. July 1 (Interfax) - Russian gas giant Gazprom's EBITDA might reach $60 billion by year's end, the company's CEO, Alexei Miller, said at a press conference.
"$60 billion in EBITDA by years' end is an absolutely realistic figure," he said.
"Commenting on the financial results [for 2011], Gazprom will definitely post records for sales revenue, this is both in total gas deliveries and in price trends," Miller said.
He added that Gazprom , upon adjusting its budget and investment program for the second half, revised the average price for gas by $80 per 1,000 cubic meters. "This gives us significant figures to say that the financial results will be records," Millers said.
It was earlier reported that Gazprom expected EBITDA this year would increase to $58 billion, which is in line with the average market forecast in the SPARK database based on the calculations of eight banks.
