Bergman appointed int'l affairs advisor to Gazprom CEO

MOSCOW. July 1 (Interfax) - Former E.ON Ruhrgas CEO Burkhard Bergman was appointed advisor for international affairs to the Gazprom chief executive on Thursday, the chief executive himself, Alexei Miller, told a press conference.

Bergmann had been a member of the Gazprom board of directors for 11 years.

He was awarded the Russian Order of Friendship in June 2011.
