Tatneft's RAS sales revenue for H1 might go up 29%
KARABASH. July 1 (Interfax) - Tatneft expects to post 154 billion rubles in sales revenue according to Russian accounting standards (RAS) for the first half of this year, the company's general director, Shafagat Takhautdinov, said at a meeting on regional development of oil companies on Friday.
The company's sales revenue for the first half of last year came to 119.123 billion rubles. Therefore, the result for the first half of 2011 might go up 29% year-on-year.
Takhautdinov also said that Tatneft produced 12.865 million tonnes of oil in January-June, up 0.3% year-on-year. In addition, the company drilled 250,000 meters of rock and brought 142 production wells online. The average daily flow per well comes to 9,200 tonnes. In addition, the company drilled 16 wells and produced 124,000 tonnes of oil outside of Tatarstan in Russia.
The company's investment for the six months came to over 36 billion rubles while Tatneft's tax payments totaled 162 billion rubles.
Takhautdinov said that test operations are ongoing at the Ashalchinskoye filed where there are nine pairs of wells. A total of 20,000 tonnes of superviscous oil was produced. Since operations started at the field in 2006, a total of 90,000 tonnes of superviscous oil has been produced.
"This year, we will bring a visbreaking and sulfur recovery unit online, which will help in starting up commercial production at the first section of the TANEKO complex," Takhautdinov said.
