Tymoshenko claims she planned to revise natural gas price yearly
KYIV. July 2 (Interfax) - Former Ukrainian prime minister Yulia Tymoshenko said during an interrogation that she had planned to yearly revise the natural gas price set by a Ukrainian-Russian gas agreement that she had negotiated when she was premier, according to a news website.
The deal set the basic price at $450 per 1,000 cubic meters. Tymoshenko, who is accused of negotiating disadvantageous gas trade terms for Ukraine, claimed she had been going to revise the price every year on the basis of market developments, the Ukrayinska Pravda site said on Saturday.
