Belarus paid $1.3 bln in oil product export duties to Russia in H1

MINSK. July 7 (Interfax) - Belarus paid Russia $1.3 billion in export duties collected on oil product refined from Russian crude in the first half of 2011.

"Export duties totaling more than $1.3 billion were transferred to the Russian budget," the deputy chairman of the State Customs Committee, Sergei Poluden, said at a press conference on Thursday.

The Belarusian customs service collected 9.5 trillion Belarusian rubles in customs payments in the first half, meeting target for the period, he said.

The official exchange rate on July 7 was 4,957 Belarusian rubles/$1.
