Belarus in talks with Russian investors on sale of 7 state cos - Myasnikovich
MOSCOW. July 12 (Interfax) - The government of Belarus is in talks with Russian investors on sale of seven major state companies, Prime Minister Mikhail Myasnikovich told journalists.
Sale of Grodnoazot is being discussed with Sibur and Rosneft , Naftan with Lukoil , Beltransgaz with Gazprom , Mozyr Oil Refinery with Rosneft , the state stake in Belarusian MTS with "Mr. Yevtushenkov," MAZ with Russian Machines and Russian Technologies and Integral with Russian Technologies.
Talks are currently underway on all those assets, he said. "The talks could be more dynamic," he said when asked about the intensity of the talks.
Asked whether the purchase by Russian Uralkali of Belaruskali is being discussed, Myasnikovich said: "For now they haven't formulated a proposal. I don't know. Maybe they don't want to."
