Dollar, euro open higher against ruble on Thursday
MOSCOW. July 14 (Interfax) - The dollar and euro were slightly higher against the ruble at the open of trading on the MICEX exchange on Thursday amid declining in oil prices.
The dollar opened at 28.05-28.09 rubles/$1, about 3 kopecks above the previous close but 18 kopecks below the official exchange rate.
The euro was at 39.8 rubles/EUR1, which is 6-7 kopecks above the close on Wednesday and 20 kopecks above the official exchange rate.
The bicurrency basket ($0.55 and 0.45 euro) was at 33.34-33.35, 4-5 kopecks above the previous close.
