Russia harvests 7.5 mln tonnes of grain by July 13 - Zubkov

MOSCOW. July 14 (Interfax) - Russia had harvested 7.5 million tonnes of grain from 1.8 million hectares as of July 13, and had exported 770,000 tonnes, First Deputy Prime Minister Viktor Zubkov reported at a government presidium meeting.

The harvest forecast for this year is 90 million tonnes, Zubkov said

"The harvest is unambiguously larger than last year's. The measures the government has taken to increase the [planted] area, to see agricultural producers are provided with seed, fuel and lubricants, have worked in full measure. Experts are today giving forecasts of ninety million tonnes of grain," Zubkov said.
