Passenger throughput on Russia's railways up 1.5% in 7 mths - RZD

MOSCOW. Aug 5 (Interfax) - Passenger throughput on Russia's railway system in January-July 2011 went up by 1.5% year-on-year, Russian Railways (RZD) said on Friday.

For instance, long-haul passenger throughput went up by 1.4% while throughput suburban trains increased by 1.5%.
