Gref ups Sberbank stake by third

MOSCOW. Aug 8 (Interfax) - The president and chairman of Sberbank of Russia , German Gref, has increased his stake in the bank's capital by a third - from 0.0016% to 0.0021%, a statement from the bank says.

The number of ordinary Sberbank shares Gref holds has also increased by a third - from 0.0014% to 0.0019% of the stock.

Gref's stake in the bank's capital changed as of August 4. The share issuer found out about this change on August 8, 2011.

Sberbank's charter capital consists of 21,586,948,000 common shares and 1 billion preferred shares at a face value of three rubles each. According to the MICEX, the average weighted price for one common share closed August 4 at 99.83% and one pref - 79.33 rubles.

The last time Gref increased its share packet in Sberbank took in May 2011. Gref increased its common share stake in the bank then from 0.0009% to 0.0014%. His stake in the bank's capital went up from 0.001% to 0.0016%.
