Slavneft sells oil servicing company MeCaMineft for $34,4 millions
MOSCOW. Aug 8 (Interfax) - Slavneft, which Gazprom Neft and TNK-BP own on a parity basis, has sold the joint venture CJSC MeCaMineft for $34,4 millions, the company said in its US GAAP results.
It was earlier reported that Slavneft sold MeCaMineft to Denmar-Finance Investment Company. The transaction was part of at the sale of subsidiary service assets. MeCaMineft specializes in providing services to the oil sector, which aim at boosting oil production at fields under development.
Slavneft said that it plans to sell its oil-base enterprise, Slavneft-Yaroslavnefteprodukt. This operation was not part of the retail network in Yaroslavl Region, which Slavneft sold to its shareholders. Slavneft hopes to sell this asset in the third quarter of 2011.
In addition, Slavneft plans to sell its subsidiary operations for rail transport of oil and petroleum products. CJSC Shipment Management was formed to carry out this plan. Slavneft expects this asset to be also sold during the third quarter of this year.
