Russian Eurobonds post gains thanks to improving external trends

MOSCOW. Aug 12 (Interfax) - Russian Eurobonds increased following the improving situation on world markets while US Treasuries posted smaller gains. As a result, spread narrowed between benchmark issues.

By 6:04 pm Moscow time, Russia-30 had increased by 91 basis points to 118.37% with yield at 4.3%, down from 4.44% on August 11.

By the same time, benchmark UST-10 had increased by 72 basis points to 98.78% with yield at 2.26%, down from 2.34% on Thursday.

Therefore, spread between Russia-30 and UST-10 narrowed on Thursday by six basis points to 204 basis points.
