Sberbank to suspend card operations for two hours on night of Aug 21-22

MOSCOW. Aug 18 (Interfax) - Top Russian bank Sberbank will suspend operations with its bank cards between 1:00 am and 3:00 am Moscow time on the night of August 21-22 because of a technical overhaul.

The suspension of card operations will be part of Sberbank's planned modernization of software at its processing center, the bank said in a statement.

These operations will affect services for cards issued by the bank, a well as of its automated bank tellers, the statement said.
