Iran hopes to resume six-party talks based on Russian proposals - ambassador
MOSCOW. Aug 24 (Interfax) - Iran is hoping to resume six-party talks on its nuclear program, based on the proposals made by Russia, Iranian Ambassador to Russia Mahmoud Reza Sajadi said.
"Iran will study Lavrov's proposals. Naturally, we will send him our assessment, and he will send our position to the other negotiators," he told a press conference in Moscow on Wednesday.
"This will be a reason for further talks between Iran and the six negotiators," the diplomat said.
Earlier, Russia proposed its plan to resume the negotiations with gradualness and reciprocity as the main conditions.
