Acron set to pay interim dividends; may close register on September 1
MOSCOW. Aug 30 (Interfax) - Russian fertilizer maker Acron may pay a dividend for the first nine months of 2011.
The board of directors will decide at an August 31 meeting whether to call an extraordinary meeting of shareholders to vote on interim dividends.
The proposed date for closing the register of shareholders for the ESM and dividend payment is September 1, Acron said in a press release.
Acron did not pay interim dividends in 2010. It paid 40 rubles per share for the full year. The company paid dividends for the first quarter and half of 2008.
As of June 30 this year, CJSC Acronagroservice held 19.78% of the company's charter capital, Questar Holdings Ltd - 18.95%, Refco Holdings ltd - 19.47%, Granadilla Holdings Ltd - 13.26%, and CJSC Granit - 8.7%. Depository-Clearing Company was the nominal holder of 5.22%. Deutsche Bank LLC (the depository for the company's GDR program) had 4.37% of charter capital.
