State packet in Irkutskenergo for RusHydro underestimated - Inter RAO chief

MOSCOW. Aug 31 (Interfax) - OJSC Inter RAO UES considers the estimate of its 40% stake on OJSC Irkutskenergo undervalued, which should be transferred to OJSC RusHydro , the state power holding's CEO, Boris Kovalchuk, told journalists on Wednesday.

When asked if Inter RAO wanted to receive more shares in RusHydro in exchange for Irkutskenergo, Kovalchuk said: "year, this is absolutely true".

He added that Inter RAO has restrained from voting in decisions on the estimate of assets for exchange at RusHydro's board of directors and shareholders meetings.
