Belarus to hike oil, oil product export duties Sept 1
MINSK. Aug 31 (Interfax) - Belarus will be increasing the duties on oil and oil products exported beyond the bounds of Customs Union customs territory as of September 1, the government's press service told Interfax, citing council of ministers resolution #1151.
The duty rate will rise from $438.2 to $444.1 per tonne of oil as of Thursday. For oil containing sulphur - excluding oil extracted at the Verkhnechonskoye, Talakanskoye, Dulisminskoye, Zapadno-Ayanskoye, Yaraktinskoye, and Morkovskoye oil and gas condensate deposits, the Alinskoye and Danilovskoye gas and oil deposits - the export duty will be $205. For light oil products (light distillates, medium distillates, and gas oil) the rate will be $297.5 per tonne. It will be $399.7 for commercial and straight-run gasoline.
The duty on dark oil products (liquid fuels, oil, and waste oil product) will be $207.4; for propane, butane, ethylene, propylene, butylene and butadiene, and other liquefied gases - $192; for oil-based vaseline, mineral tallows and similar products - $207.4. Also, the customs export duty on a tonne of oil coke and bitumen, other remnants from the refining of oil or oil products obtained from bituminous rock will be $204.6; for benzene, toluene, and xylene - $293.6.
