KazakhTelecom boosts IFRS net profit 45% in H1
ALMATY. Sept 5 (Interfax) - Kazakhtelecom boosted net profit to International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) 45% year-on-year in H1 2011 to 29.394 billion tenge, the telco said.
Revenue grew 10.1% to 80.845 billion tenge, gross profit by 7.5% to 27.451 billion and profit before tax by 41% to 32.523 billion tenge (146.71 tenge/$1 on Sept.5).
The assets of the company have expanded since the beginning of the year by 6.1% to 393.227 billion tenge, liabilities decreased by 0.7% to 131.091 billion tenge and equity capital grew by 9.9% to 262.592 billion tenge.
The majority shareholder of the company is the Samruk-Kazyna state fund.
