Federal tax returns in Russia soar 42% to 2.9 trillion rubles in 8M
MOSCOW. Sept 7 (Interfax) - Tax returns for Russia's federal budget soared 42% year-on-year in January-August to 2.907 trillion rubles, Mikhail Mishustin, head of the Federal Tax Service, said at a meeting of the service's officials.
Around 70% of the year's targeted federal tax returns was met in the period.
August tax returns soared 50% year-on-year to 352 billion rubles.
Tax debt rose by 56 billion rubles or 4% to 1.22 trillion rubles between January 1 and August 1, 2011, Mishustin said.
