Gasoline prices in Russia up 0.2% Aug 30 to Sept 5 - Rosstat
MOSCOW. Sept 9 (Interfax) - Consumer automotive gasoline prices increased 0.2% on average across Russia from August 30 to September 5, the Federal State Statistics Service (Rosstat) reported on Friday.
The previous week - August 23-29 - gasoline prices did not changed, and before that the most weekly growth in six weeks was observed August 1-8 - 0.8%
Gasoline prices have gone up 13.2% since the start of the year.
Gasoline price increased August 30 to September 5 were observed in 36 centers of Russian Federation regions. The most price growth was in Perm - 2.9%.
Gasoline prices were flat with the previous week in 42 centers.
Prices decreased in 5 centers, including 0.9% in Tambov.
In both Moscow and St. Petersburg, gasoline prices averaged up 0.1% for the week.
The cost of a liter of gasoline on average countrywide was 26.13 rubles on September 5 (26.07 rubles on August 29), including 24.08 rubles for low-octane (A-76, Ai-80) gasoline (24.03 rubles), Ai-92/93 - 26.17 rubles (26.11 rubles), high octane (Ai-95 and up) - 28.05 rubles (28.00 rubles), and diesel fuel - 24.91 rubles (24.87 rubles).
Production of automotive gasoline in Russia increased 2.5% August 29 to September 4 from the preceding week to 758,000 tonnes. Output of diesel fuel was up 0.4% at 1.380 million tonnes.
