Nekipelov retains chair of Rosneft board of directors
MOSCOW. Sept 13 (Interfax) - The vice president of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Alexander Nekipelov, who was elected to the chairmanship of the board of directors at oil company Rosneft during the company's annual shareholders meeting in place of Deputy Prime Minister Igor Sechin, has retained the chair at an extraordinary shareholders meeting, an Interfax correspondent reported from that meeting.
His deputies on the board of directors remain VTB chief Andrei Kostin, head of Barclays Capital Inc. Hans-Joerg Rudloff, and Senior VTB Vice President Sergei Shishin, each of whom headed a board committee.
Rudloff was elected to head the audit committee, Kostin the personnel and remuneration committee, and Shishin the strategic planning committee.
