EuroChem to acquire major asset in Europe by end-Sept - Melnichenko

MOSCOW. Sept 14 (Interfax) - EuroChem will wrap up the acquisition of a major asset in Europe by the end of this month, company co-owner Andrei Melnichenko told reporters on Wednesday.

"We are negotiating now, and will announce the results next week. We plan to acquire a large asset in Europe, and will close the deal tentatively in the [latter part of September]," Melnichenko said in response to a question as to whether the company planned to acquire chemicals assets.
