Belarus could reject IMF loan - National Bank

MINSK. Sept 14 (Interfax) - Vice Chairman of the National Bank of Belarus Taras Nadolny said Belarus could withdraw its request for a new loan from the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and cope with the current financial-economic crisis on its own.

"The final decision has not been made yet, but a rejection of the loan is quite likely. We may cope with the situation on our own," he told reporters in Minsk on Wednesday, commenting on the country's dialogue with the IMF.
