Prices in Russia again move down 0.1% for Sept 6-12 after zero growth in the previous week - Rosstat
MOSCOW. Sept 14 (Interfax) - Consumer price sin Russia went down by 0.1% for the week of September 6-12 after zero growth in the first week of the month, the Russian Federal State Statistics Agency (Rosstat) said on Wednesday.
Inflation since the start of the year has gone done to 4.6%. The inflation rate for the same period of 2010 came to 5.8% and starting from September of that year - 0.4%.
Over the last seven weeks, inflation in Russia has fluctuated between 0% and -0.1% thanks to a seasonal decrease in prices for crop production. In addition, consumer prices went down in August by 0.2%, which the first time this happened since August 2005.
