Russia, S. Ossetia sign five agreements

TSKHINVALI. Sept 20 (Interfax) - Russia and the Republic of South Ossetia signed five cooperation agreements between their ministries and government departments at the first Russian-South Ossetian business forum, which opened in Tskhinvali on Tuesday.

In particular, agreements have been signed between the Russian and South Ossetian chambers of commerce and industry, as well as on cooperation in agriculture, informatization, tourism and regional development.

After the signing ceremony, chief of the Russian presidential administration Sergei Naryshkin, who attended the forum, handed over state awards for significant contribution to the Russian-South Ossetian relations to South Ossetian Emergencies Minister Anatoly Bibilov, South Ossetian Presidential State Advisor Zhanna Zaseyeva, Russian Ambassador to South Ossetia Elbrus Kargiyev, Commander of the South Ossetian Special Police Squad Merab Pukhayev and South Ossetian Prosecutor General Teimuraz Khugayev.
