CB might hold stress-tests for Russian banks in Q4
MOSCOW. Sept 22 (Interfax) - Russia's Central Bank might hold stress tests for Russian banks in the fourth quarter of 2011, the deputy director of the CB's department for banking regulation and supervision, Mikhail Kovrigin, told journalists on the sidelines of a Fitch Rating Agency's annual conference.
"We plan to do this [hold stress tests] in the fourth quarter," he said.
Kovrigin said that stress-test efforts might include several additional criteria for appraising Russian banks.
