RUSAL Armenal ups foil output 5.1% in 8 mths

YEREVAN. Sept 30 (Interfax) - The Yerevan-based RUSAL-Armenal plant, which is owned by Russian aluminum giant UC RUSAL, raised aluminum foil production 5.1% year-on-year in January-August to 16,614 tonnes, the Armenian National Statistics Service said.

The mill produced 10.8 tonnes of other aluminum products, down 53% year-on-year.

The foil mill exports most of its output to the United States (80%), Europe and Middle East.
