Ferrexpo reduces pellet output 2% in 9M

KYIV. Oct 3 (Interfax) - Ukraine's Poltava Mining (PGOK), the core asset of the London-listed Ferrexpo plc, reduced commercial pellet production 1.9% year-on-year in January-September to 7.301 million tonnes, but concentrate production rose 1% to 8.464 million tonnes, PGOK told Interfax, quoting preliminary data.

PGOK produced 840,000 tonnes of pellets and 930,000 tonnes of concentrate in September.

Poltava Mining exports nearly all of its pellets.
