Ruble continues slide on MICEX Tues

MOSCOW. Oct 4 (Interfax) - The ruble continued to lose ground Tuesday against the bicurrency basket ($0.55 and EUR 0.45), the value of which ended the MICEX trading day up 14.5 kopecks at 37.556 rubles amid worldwide worry about the fate of Greece and the Eurozone in general.

The dollar closed up 12 kopecks at 32.715 rubles/$1 (the day's high - 32.8999 rubles/$1). The euro gained 17.22 kopecks to 43.4722 rubles/EUR1 (43.48 rubles/EUR1).
