ArcelorMittal Kriviy Rih cuts roll output 9.2% in nine mths

KYIV. Oct 11 (Interfax) - ArcelorMittal Kriviy Rih (formerly Kryvorizhstal), Ukraine's biggest steel producer, reduced finished roll production 9.2% year-on-year to 3.616 million tonnes in January-September, the company's press office said, quoting an adjusted figure.

Crude steel production fell 9.5% to 4.095 million tonnes and pig iron was down 11% to 3.502 million tonnes.

The plant produced 419,700 tonnes of roll, 476,500 tonnes of steel and 402,000 tonnes of pig iron in September alone.
