No decision yet on Shtokman tax breaks - Shmatko

MOSCOW. Oct 17 (Interfax) - A decision to award individual tax breaks for the Shtokman gas project or to include the project in the new system for all offshore fields has yet to be reached, Russian Energy Minister Sergei Shmatko told Interfax.

"There's no decision, we're looking at this now," Shmatko said.

He also said it was difficult to discuss tax breaks for the project due to the absence of an investment decision for it.
