Russian political and economic calendar: October 18
MOSCOW. Oct 18 (Interfax) - The political and economic calendar in Moscow, Russia and Newly Independent States for Oct 18 is as follows:
*** Russian President Dmitry Medvedev and his Ukrainian counterpart Viktor Yanukovych will discuss the euro zone situation and, in the case of the Ukrainian interest, the formation of the Customs Union in Donetsk.
*** The prime ministers from the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS), the Eurasian Economic Community (EurAsEC) and the Customs Union are due to meet in St. Petersburg on October 18-19. The Russian delegation will be led by Prime Minister Vladimir Putin, the Russian government's spokesperson said. The meeting held in St. Petersburg will include, in particular, a session of the CIS council of the heads of government, the EurAsEC Inter-State Council and the supreme body of the Customs Union.
