Russian oil exports down 2% to 161.3 mln tonnes in 8 mths - Rosstat
MOSCOW. Oct 21 (Interfax) - Russian oil and gas condensate exports (including information from Belarus) in January-August 2011 were down 2% from the same period of last year at 161.3 million tonnes, the Federal State Statistics Service (Rosstat) said, quoting figures from the Federal Customs Service (FCS).
Oil accounted for 35.2% of overall Russian exports in the eight months, up from 34.5% in January-August 2010. Oil came to 50.9% of overall fuel and energy exports, up from 50.8% a year previously.
The average export price for oil in August 2011 was $778.6 per tonne, or 0.7% lower than in July 2011. Urals blend traded at $799.3 a tonne in the world market, 5% less.

Russia produced 338.1 million tonnes of oil and gas condensate in January-August 2011, up 0.8% year-on-year. Russia-based refineries processed 172.1 million tonnes of crude, up 4.4%.
