Presidential financial markets council makes new appointments
MOSCOW. Oct 21 (Interfax) - Deputy Finance Minister Alexei Savatyugin has been replaced as secretary of the Presidential Financial Market Development Council by Federal Financial Markets Service Chairman Dmitry Pankin, a presidential decree of October 18 states.
Alexander Voloshin has been appointed head of the council's working group on establishing an international financial center in Russia.
The decree also replaces former Finance Minister and Deputy Prime Minister Alexei Kudrin as chairman of the council with First Deputy Prime Minister Igor Shuvalov, who was given the responsibility to run the government's financial-economic bloc after Kudrin's resignation.
