Russian int'l reserves up $8.7 bln in Oct to $525.6 bln - CB

MOSCOW. Nov 7 (Interfax) - Russia's international reserves rose by $8.709 billion or 1.7% to $525.557 billion in October, the Central Bank said on its website.

The reserves, which stood at $479.379 billion on January 1, grew $46.178 billion or 9.3% in January-October. They rose $37.469 billion or 7.8% in January-September.

Monetary gold rose to a high of 9.2% from 8.6% of the reserves during October, 7.5% at the start of January and 6.9% at the end of that month.

The forex reserves grew 0.94% in October to $476.967 billion after falling 4.8% in September to $472.496 billion.
