Vimpelcom may boost its stake in Euroset

ALMATY. Nov 8 (Interfax) - Vimpelcom Ltd. is thinking of raising its stake in mobile phone retailer Euroset, Vimpelcom CEO Jo Lunder told a Tuesday press briefing in Almaty.

"We already own a 49% stake in Euroset. We have an option to increase our stake. The option expires in January. We are currently assessing the merits of the deal. I cannot tell you any further," he said.

Vimpelcom Ltd. has an option to buy 25% more shares of Euroset, Lunder said.
