Pharmacy Chain 36.6 expects to start making profit in 2013

MOSCOW. Nov 8 (Interfax) - Pharmacy Chain 36.6 expects to start making a profit in 2013, the company's General Director Valery Solok told journalists.

"It is likely that we will start making a net profit in 2013. We will still come out with a budgeted loss in 2012," Solok said.

Pharmacy Chain 36.6 expects a 1.3-billion-ruble loss in 2011, he said.

"This is a budgeted loss. We planned it, but it is lowering compared with last year," Solok said.

The company's investments will total 500-600 million rubles in 2012. "We have plans for limited development - 200 pharmacy openings and investments in the business-process," he said. Investments in 2011 will total 400 million rubles.

Pharmacy Chain 36.6 has been operating at a loss for a few years. In 2010 its net loss was 432.6 million rubles, down 18% year-on-year.
