Russian Helicopters reduces stake in Kazan Helicopter Plant to 80.2%

KAZAN. Nov 9 (Interfax) - OJSC Russian Helicopters, a wholly owned subsidiary of state defense industry corporation Oboronprom, has reduced its stake in OJSC Kazan Helicopter Plant (KHP) to 80.22% from 93.47%, the management company reported.

The number of common shares in KHP held by Russian Helicopters has decreased to 80.53% from 93.83%. The change took place on November 8.

KHP and Russian Helicopters told Interfax that they are not commenting on the official statement.

KHP has charter capital of 154.684 million rubles, split into 154,089,390 common and 594,000 preferred shares with par value of 1 ruble each.

KHP builds the Mi-8 and Mi-17 families of helicopters, and the Ansat light helicopter.

Russian Helicopters is a subsidiary of Oboronprom, which is part of the state Russian Technologies (Rostekhnologii) corporation. It is the management company of Moscow's OJSC Mil Helicopter Plant , OJSC Kamov , OJSC Ulan-Ude Aircraft Plant, OJSC Kazan Helicopter Plant, OJSC Rostvertol, OJSC Sazykin Aviation Company Progress, the Kumertau Aviation Production Enterprise, Moscow's Vperyod Machine-Building Plant, the Stupino Machine-Building Plant, Reduktor-PM, the Novosibirsk Aircarft Repair Plant and the Helicopter Service Compnay.
