MICEX stock index falls below 1500 as int'l markets worsen
MOSCOW. Nov 9 (Interfax) - Russia's MICEX stock index has fallen below the 1500-threshold due to profit-taking triggered by the international markets downswing.
The MICEX was down 1.4% to 1499.59 by 1:05 p.m., the RTS index had fallen 1% to 1564.19 and benchmark stocks had fallen by up to 2.5%.
