Russian oil exports to non-CIS down 6.4%, gas up 10% in 9M - customs
MOSCOW. Nov 9 (Interfax) - Russia exported 156.359 million tonnes of oil to non-CIS countries in January-September 2011, down 6.4% year-on-year, the Federal Customs Service (FCS) said.
Petroleum product exports in tonnage fell 3.2%: diesel fuel exports decreased 13.1%, while automobile gasoline grew 48.3%.
Overall fuel and energy exports to non-CIS in value rose 33.3% year-on-year.
Fuel and energy accounted for 72.4% of Russian exports to the non-CIS, compared with 70.8% in the same period last year.
Oil shipments to the CIS fell 59.9% year-on-year to 3.486 million tonnes in January-September 2011. Oil product exports fell 2.6%, including gasoline - 58% and kerosene - 69.1%; while liquid fuel exports rose 77.4%, including diesel fuel - 17.4%.
Fuel and energy exports to the CIS grew 24.1% in value.
Fuel and energy accounted for 56.9% of exports to the CIS, up from 50.7% in January-September 2010.
Overall Russian oil exports were 159.846 million tonnes in January-September 2011, down 9.1% year-on-year.
Russia exported 119.5 billion cubic meters of natural gas overall in January-September 2011, up 11.7% year-on-year. Gas exports to the non-CIS rose 10.2% to 83.8 bcm, while exports to the CIS grew 17.4% to 35.7 bcm.
