Aeroflot receives Russian Technologies aviation assets

MOSCOW. Nov 15 (Interfax) - OJSC Aeroflot - Russian Airlines took possession of state corporation Russian Technologies' aviation assets on Tuesday, a source close to the deal told Interfax.

"The deal took place on Tuesday. Aeroflot received the assets of six Russian Technologies airlines," the source said, adding that the state corporation received Aeroflot stock in return.

The Russian Technologies aviation assets comprise Rossiya, Orenburg Airlines, Sakhalin Air Routes, Kavminvodyavia, Vladivostok Avia and Saratov Airlines.

The six airline assets were valued on March 31 2010 at 2.5 billion rubles. In accordance with this valuation, Russian Technologies may obtain 3.61% of Aeroflot shares.
