Pipe consumption in Russia to drop 13% in 2012 - Russian Steel

MOSCOW. Nov15 (Interfax) - Pipe consumption in Russia will drop 13% in 2012 (by around 1 million tonnes) , Rossiyskaya Stal (Russian Steel) Vice President Mikhail Makarov said at an Industry Ministry metallurgy coordination council meeting during the Metal-Expo 2011.

Pipe Industry Development Foundation Chairman Alexander Deineko agreed. He said pipe consumption in Russia would total around 9 million tonnes in 2011.
