Income growth in Russia slows to 0.4% in Oct - Rosstat

MOSCOW. Nov 18 (Interfax) - Real disposable incomes in Russia rose 0.4% in October compared with the same month in 2010, the Federal State Statistics Service (Rosstat) said.

Incomes grew 2.9% in September, 1.6% in August, 0.4% in July, and 2.2% in June after falling 5.3% in May and 3.1% in April. They fell 0.2% year-on-year in real terms in January-October.

Nominal incomes in October 2011 averaged at 20,691 rubles, up 7.5% from October 2010.

The average nominal wage rose 12.6% year-on-year in October 2011 to 23,350 rubles per month.

Real incomes adjusted for inflation rose 5% in annual terms in October.
