Gazprom, Bavaria discuss prospects for joint gas generation
MOSCOW. Nov 23 (Interfax) - Gazprom CEO Alexei Miller and Bavarian Prime Minister Horst Seehofer have discussed possibilities for implementing joint projects in the area of gas generation, Gazprom said in a press release.
"The participants in the meeting considered the prospects for developing Russian-German cooperation in the energy sphere. They also continued the dialog on possibly implementing joint projects in the area of gas generation in Bavaria," the press release said.
Of the 16 states in Germany, Bavaria is the largest in terms of land area. It also possesses the largest economic and scientific potential and leads the country in economic growth. Bavaria's most developed industries include machine building, electrical engineering, energy and chemicals.
