Kudin leaves VEB supervisory board
MOSCOW. Nov 24 (Interfax) - Former Russian Finance Minister Alexei Kudrin has relinquished his positions on the supervisory board at Vnesheconombank (VEB)and the boards of directors at the Deposit Insurance Agency (DIA) and National Banking Council (NBC).
Prime Minister Vladimir Putin has signed the pertinent resolution.
Acting Finance Minister Anton Siluanov has taken Kudrin's place on the VEB supervisory board, and on the NBC and DIA boards of directors.
The DIA board of directors has proposed electing Siluanov chairman.
Kudrin has also left the Russian government presidium, the Eurasian Bank of Development council, the Russian-Italian council, the governmental commission for budget development for the next financial year and planned period, the military-industrial council, the governmental commission for regional development issues, the inter-agency working group for the modernization and innovative development of the defense industry complex, the Russia-British trade committee, the governmental commission for economic development and integration, and the governmental commission for high technology and innovation.
The former finance minister is also off the commission for military and technical cooperation with foreign governments, the Russian presidential council for financial market development, the working group for government programs in boosting the effectiveness of budget spending, the organizing committee for preparing and conducting the Krasnoyarsk economic forum, and the ANO supervisory board 'Organizing Committee Russia 2018'.
