Azerbaijan budget deficit may drop to 0.2% of GDP in 2011
BAKU. Nov 28 (Interfax) - Azerbaijan could see a budget deficit of 94.8 million manat, or 0.2% of GDP, in 2011, the Azerbaijani government told Interfax.
Revenue is forecast to remain at the planned level of 15.55 billion manat and spending will drop to 15.65 billion manat. GDP is expected to be 42.4 billion manat.
The state budget for 2011 was confirmed with revenue of 15.55 billion manat and spending of 15.94 billion manat with a deficit of 387 million manat, or 0.9% of GDP.
