MICEX admits Intesa bank bonds to trading

MOSCOW. Nov 29 (Interfax) - The MICEX Stock Exchange November 28 decided to admit four series of commercial paper in the form of exchange bonds to be issued by Banca Intesa, the Russian subsidiary of Italian banking group Banca Intesa Sanpaolo, to trading, the exchange said.

The ID numbers are 4B020102216B, 4B020202216B, 4B020302216B and 4B020402216B.

Banca Intesa said on November 16 that it was planning to place exchange bond issues BO-01 through BO-04 worth a combined 16 billion rubles.

The bank will place three-year bonds at a face value of 1,000 rubles each by open subscription on MICEX with a pout option

Exchange issues BO-01 and BO-03 each come to 3 billion rubles while BO-03 and BO-04 come to 5 billion rubles.

The bank currently has its second classic bond issue in circulation worth 3.4 billion rubles, which is slated to mature on November 30, 2011.

Banca Intesa completed its merger with KMB Bank by January 2010.

Both of the integrated banks were subsidiaries of Italy's Banca Intesa Sanpaolo, which is one of the leading banking groups in the Eurozone and the absolute leader on Italy's banking services market.

Banca Intesa was 51st biggest bank in Russia by assets at the end of the third quarter of 2011 according to Interfax-100 ranking, compiled by the Interfax Center for Economic Analysis.
